"A really nice hotel with a great ambience, garden and pool. Also a nice pool bar with lots of different drinks and food for lunch. Nice, big and clean rooms with air conditioning. Really friendly and smiling staff. Nice breakfast with the basics. Free parking unless you want to use the underground parking. You can relax by the pool or in the adjacent garden. Not far from the hotel you can buy your groceries at the supermarket. The beach area is nearby and there is a nice selection of restaurants nearby." - Rene

"All the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful when booking and during our stay. We stayed in one of the villas in the gardens of this hotel. We couldn't believe how lovely it was when we checked in. It was very well equipped and spacious, spotlessly clean and suited our needs perfectly. There was plenty of seating outside the villa in a beautiful and peaceful garden setting. We had free use of bikes, tennis court, bowls and a large swimming pool. The hotel arranged taxi transfers from Milan and Bergamo airport, they were very efficient and professional, polite and courteous to all of us. We didn't use the hotel restaurant ourselves but others said the food was very good. There are lots of good restaurants and pizzerias & 2 supermarkets within easy walking distance of the hotel. It took us about 20 minutes to walk to Desenzano and also to the train station. We took many ferry rides around Lake Garda (excellent) and went to Verona, very cheaply, by train. When we visit Lake Garda again we would choose to stay at Villa Maria-Desenzano once more." - UKJackie

What can I say, a structure surrounded by greenery a stone's throw from the lakeside of Desenzano, as soon as we arrived at the reception to check in we were greeted with smiles and helpfulness as well as high professionalism, distinctive signs of the hotel chain that now manages this beautiful hotel. The restaurant worthy of a special mention of merit, very refined cuisine and dishes taken care of in detail.. Easter lunch was served in the beautiful Villa Liberty, also this without a shadow of a doubt one of the best ever. Now let's come to the room... Spacious, clean and elegant with a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake, but I also had the opportunity to see those without a view and they are still worthy of being called 4**** rooms.
